Description
Remote-first position based in OH, PA, or WV
Bosland Growth is a forest carbon project developer focused on restoration and conservation of degraded mine land in Appalachia. Founded in 2022, we are employing a carbon financing approach to heal mine scarred landscapes in Appalachia through reforestation. Collaborating with partners, including ecological restoration and tree planting contractors, carbon development consultants, NRCS, the US Forest Service, and others, we work on private land impacted by past surface mining activities in Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. To ensure that new forests thrive and provide ecological benefits, we use the Forestry Reclamation Approach (FRA), a proven method developed by the Appalachian Regional Reforestation Initiative (ARRI)
.

The Forestry Project Manager will report to the Vice President of Landowner Engagement, who is based out of Bosland’s Pittsburgh office.
