Bring your complete knowledge of the digitization process and your best practices as a project manager to this opportunity. You will support a team tasked with the development and hosting of a new electronic records management system that meets NARA Requirements version 2.04.
The Deputy Contract/Project Manager for this contract will work with a Manager who has over 25 years of experience and is a dedicated ARMA member. You will support, consult, negotiate, provide oversight, and proactively provide leadership to a geographically dispersed team working remotely to bring a large federal agency into compliance with regulatory mandates.

Requirements
As the Deputy Contract/Project Manager, you will have:
- 8+ years managing mid-large records management and digitization projects
- Experience bringing mandated requirements to an organization
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of the digitization process, particularly the challenges to conducting the manual handling of documents, scanning for multiple offices, conducting surveys, collecting metadata, etc.
- ARMA International certification in at least one of the four ARMA certificate programs preferred
You will assist the PM to:
- Travel as necessary to the government office in Washington, DC to attend the official kickoff meeting and schedule periodic meetings that require travel through the course of the project
- Work closely with Contract/Project Manager to establish coherent team leadership and continuity of message and leadership for stakeholders
- Oversee interactions with stakeholders at regional offices
- Oversee interactions with the incumbent or other contractors that may be identified as part of the initial data gathering effort
- Manage budget for both labor and other direct costs (ODCs)
- Oversee allocation of project resources
- Work to adapt, design and develop automated reporting tools to be used for the project (Survey Report, Management Dashboard, Risk/Issue Tracker, etc.)
- Track deliverables, risks, mitigations, and issues
- Support and direct the geographically dispersed team through use of Teams meetings
- Monitor and report on project progress to stakeholders and 4A management
- Present to stakeholders reports on progress as well as problems and solutions
